Ayuthaya and the Summer Palace
Return by cruise boat
Established as the second capital of Thailand, (1350-1767), this historic
city hosts several magnificent ruins and temples. On the way to Ayuthaya you
will visit Bang Pa-in, the Summer Palace, with its beautiful pavilion at the
center of an ornamental lake. The Palace also includes several buildings of
Thai, European, and Chinese architecture. In Ayuthaya, the trip stops at the
most famous temples and ruins in the city before boarding the cruise ship that
will take you back to Bangkok along the Chao Praya River. A buffet lunch is
included on the cruise.
